Energy Science and Technology (EBT) Master and PhD Program
Developments in energy and its related issues covering technical, economic, environmental and social issues make it necessary to adopt a multidisciplinary vision for the education of energy engineers and managers. MSc and PhD programs on "Energy Science and Technology" in the Institute were prepared in line with the requirements of interdisciplinary education on energy in general. The students are directed to specialize in current research topics such as the renewable energy, nuclear research, conventional energy, and energy planning and management.
The MSc. and PhD. program for "Energy Science and Technologies" in the Institute of Energy was prepared to meet the requeriment of interdisciplinary education on energy development at the graduate level, and to educate and enable engineers and architects who comprehend environmental and economic issues generate new solutions in the area of energy technologies.
Student Profile and Admission Requirements
The Energy Science and Technology program is similar in its structure to other international institutions and is open to students in all areas. It is an interdisciplinary program for graduates especially in the areas of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Meteorology, Architecture, Chemistry, Physics, Department of Mathematics.
Program Structure and Implementation
The Energy Science and Technology Program consists of 11 core courses and 44 elective courses and includes group of lessons in the different areas of expertise according to its interdiciplinary structure and diversity in the student profile.
