Prof. Dr. Tuba Okutucu Özyurt visited the National Solar Thermal Test Facility (NSTTF) at Sandia Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM, USA, on September 26, 2022, as part of the Horizon 2020 Solar Twins project. In the next-generation Gen 3 Particle Pilot Plant (G3P3) at the NSTTF, she investigated various applications of concentrated solar energy, such as hydrogen production, supercritical CO2 cycles, particle technology, and thermal energy storage.
