Equipments and Purposes of Use

  • Canberra High Purity Germanium (HpGe) n-type coaxial detector in lead shield (Relative efficiency 40%, Resolution: FWHM 2.1 keV at 1.33 MeV)
  • Canberra Eagle Digital Spectrometer
  • Genie 2000 Spectrum Analysis Program

Experiments and Tests

  • In the neutron activation analysis laboratory; In soil, sediment, rock, metal and mineral samples, there are approximately 60 elements, including Ce, Co, Cr, Cs, Fe, La, Na, Rb, Sc, Th, as well as Ba, Br, Eu, Sb, Tb, U elements. The element can be determined with high sensitivity.
