The project entitled “Highly Stable Low-Temperature Bio-Carbon-Based Perovskite Solar Cells” led by Prof. Dr. Nilgün KARATEPE YAVUZ and involving Res. Assist. Gökçen GÖKÇELİ KAHVECİ and Res. Assist. Yağmur Su SAYIN, has been awarded support under the TÜBİTAK–US National Science Foundation (NSF) Bilateral Cooperation program. Within the scope of the project, carbon materials derived from waste biomass at ITU Energy Institute will be transformed into electrodes for perovskite solar cells, while the US team will scale up the work. Through these efforts, the project team aims to develop alternative materials to synthetic graphite and enhance the stability of perovskite solar cells, particularly with sustainable and environmentally friendly approaches.
